Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, responsible for accurate and efficient practice of pharmacy, including general clinical pharmacy services to patients, nurses, and medical staff. Participates in Pharmacotherapy Consult service, staff development, and education, and targeted drug programs. Assesses the age-specific needs of patients served while monitoring patient medication use and processing medication orders. Able to perform all of the duties of a registered Pharmacist. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.

 

B.S. degree in Pharmacy with residency or Pharm D degree from accredited College of Pharmacy. Pharmacy Practice Residency or equivalent training experience.

Current licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in the state of Florida. One-year prior experience in a hospital or related experience with clinical pharmacy.
