Pool Maintenance Technician Location: Buda, TX, United States Date Posted: Mar 19, 2026 Job ID: 2602146 Share | Apply Now | Save Job DescriptionJob Overview This position assists on the responsibility for the direct oversight of the Residential Association facilities, including but not limited to: Assisting in oversight of third-party contracts. The day-to-day operation of Association amenities. Future planning of the Association facilities. Assists in closely monitoring, identifying, and communicating problems in every phase of general maintenance and future planning of the Associations operation, including all pools, parks, lakes, irrigation systems, and common areas. Works closely with the Facilities Manager, General Manager, and Declarants designated Development Partner to promote the immediate attention to Association repairs, Association landscape and irrigation operations, and general cleanliness of the Association. Makes recommendations, oversees third-party contract performance, assists and oversees pool maintenance and operation, conducts landscape walks, identifies potential concerns and/or projects, and implements preventive maintenance as established by Company procedures and guidelines. Your Responsibilities Maintains a safe and secure environment throughout the property. Oversees regular cleaning and maintenance of Association pools and grounds along with contracted third-party vendors. Oversees the Association irrigation system of common areas within the Association. Assists in landscape inspections with third-party vendors and provides recommendations based on Association needs. Assists in repair needs and estimated time needed for repair, performing bid walks, regular landscape walks, and pool inspections timely. Inventories maintenance supplies. Maintains disaster preparedness by identifying potential problems, developing response plans, and managing crises. Completes reports and work orders. Manages relationships between vendors, management team, and Board of Directors. Maintains equipment and storage areas in a neat, organized, and secure condition. Actively participates in performing work order, minor pool, and/or maintenance repairs. Able to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment. Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment. Performs other tasks and projects as assigned by management and Declarants development manager. Tests all aquatic facilities and keeps record of any adjustments needed. Checks all equipment and adjusts if needed for optimal performance. Troubleshoots electrical equipment; if issues arise, has knowledge to perform any repairs needed correctly. Backwashes all filtration systems needed. Checks function of all equipment and controls to make sure everything is working properly. Performs all cleaning of aquatic facilities as needed (i.e., vacuuming, skimmers, etc.). Daily inspections of the facilities overall, including restrooms. Any other duties as required by management. Skills & QualificationsEducation & Training Previous commercial facilities maintenance supervisor experience OR three years property management maintenance experience of large Association pool environments. Experience & Knowledge Must possess strong experience in supervising staff. Strong interpersonal skills and strong working knowledge of customer service principles and practices. Strong time management skills. Must be able to multi-task and operate in a fast-paced environment. Computer literacy required. Professional and working knowledge of MS Office applications with emphasis on Excel and Word. On Call 24/7. Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner. Must be able to work a flexible schedule and weekends as needed. Driving Requirements Frequent need (33 to 66% of time) to drive. Safe driving and maintenance of maintenance carts. * Valid Texas drivers license and insurance required.
