Description
As a Seasonal Pool and Marina attendant, you’ll be responsible for responsible for enforcing pool & marina rules and ensuring the safety of residents/guests in the pool & marina areas.
- Capable of enforcing all pool & marina rules and regulations in a polite and professional manner.
- Responsible for keeping the pool & marina areas clean and tidy. This includes: straightening chairs, picking up trash, raking beach, vacuuming boats, sweeping, dusting, washing windows, washing boats, stocking toiletries, and any other cleaning duties as assigned.
- Check resident ID cards and manage guest passes.
- Assist with check in / out of boats.
- Assist any beach parties or club events with set-up or help they may require during their event.
- Operate watercraft (pontoon boat, Jon boat) as needed.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Experience and training in customer service is highly desirable.
- Experience in an aquatic setting desirable.
- Highly effective interpersonal skills, problem solving abilities, and advanced communication skills a plus.
- Must present a professional image. Must be outgoing and able to work with all types of people. Must be energetic.
- Accountable for one’s own work.

Position involves sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, shoving, lifting, carrying and moving objects that can weigh up to 100 lbs. This movement can occur throughout the day. Must also be able to climb several flights of stairs if necessary.
Must be able to interact with all types of individuals, be mentally alert, detail oriented, and with good reasoning skills.
Must be able to work on more than one assignment at a time with frequent interruptions, changes and delays. Must be able to remain focused and work effectively, efficiently, and cheerfully under such circumstances. For safety reasons, employee must remain alert to working conditions and aware of safety, health, and environmental concerns.

Compensation: $16.50/hour
