QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous swimming pool service experience preferred (1+ years or more).
  • Knowledge of pool water chemistry, testing, and chemical balancing.
  • Familiarity with pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, and cleaners.
  • Ability to diagnose basic pool equipment issues and identify needed repairs.
  • Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a daily service route efficiently.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Dependable, honest, and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Professional appearance and positive customer service skills.
  • Comfortable using a smartphone or mobile app to coordinate with office and/or customers
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work, including bending, kneeling, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Experience servicing both residential and commercial pools.
  • Basic plumbing, electrical, or mechanical troubleshooting experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Clean and maintain residential and commercial swimming pools and spas.
  • Test and balance pool water chemistry.
  • Add and adjust chemicals to maintain proper water quality.
  • Empty skimmer baskets, pump baskets, and cleaner bags.
  • Brush pool walls, steps, tile, and vacuum pools as needed.
  • Skim debris from the water surface.
  • Inspect pumps, filters, heaters, timers, and other pool equipment for proper operation.
  • Backwash and clean filters as required.
  • Identify and report equipment issues, leaks, or needed repairs.
  • Complete service logs and document chemical readings and work performed.
  • Operate a company vehicle safely while traveling between service locations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked service vehicle.
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service.
  • Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
  • Work independently while managing an assigned daily service route.
  • Lift and carry chemicals, equipment, and supplies (up to 50 pounds).
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
