The Pool Supervisor provides supervision and support to staff and patrons in the facility, with an emphasis on maintaining and enforcing rules and regulations to ensure a safe aquatic environment. Acts as facility supervisor in the absence of the Aquatic Program Director.
Reports To: Aquatics Director
Essential Job Functions:
Follow all essential job functions for both lifeguard and instructor job descriptions
Serve as a mentor for lifeguards and instructors
Report any employee incidents to Director
To ensure safe and effect programs, rules and regulations will be enforced in a consistent manner
Ensure the facility is properly secured at closing time
Complete all necessary forms for documentation of shift detail
Participate and assist in the conduction of staff meetings and training
Addresses issues and concerns that occur while on duty
Responsible for documenting and reporting issues and concerns to the Aquatics Program Director
Comply with the rules and procedures as defined in the employee handbook
Manage the "on-call" phone for emergencies during the allocated hours of week
