Pool Watchperson 18+ (2026)

Provide the necessary security at each pool site during off idle hours to make sure no one attempts to swim in the pool without the proper supervision. 

Responsibilities: 

1. Provide the necessary security at each pool site during off idle hours 

2. Complies with regulations as required by local health code. 

3. Performs related work as required.   

Minimum Entrance Qualifications: 

1. Ability to work flexible hours. 

2. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. 

3. Ability to exercise good judgment and focus on detail as required by the position. 

Providence residency is required.   

Seasonal Position - BCI check required 

Start:  early July 2026

End:   end of August 2026

Providence Department of Parks and Recreation will hire Providence youth this summer to operate lunch program sites, camps, pools and water parks across the city. All summer employment candidates must be at least 16 years old as of July 1, 2026, and must have applied online.
