Position would require the candidate to be a W2 employee of Donatech. US Citizenship/Permanent Resident Required. Job requirements of a Portable Metrology Engineer include: • Conduct inspection and dimensional report generation utilizing laser trackers, Faro arms and high volume scanners. • Generating detailed inspection reports for Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality • Conducting laser inspections of new design installations for integration into manufacturing • Performing inspection tasks for new designs and design changes • Interfacing with Design Engineering, Program Management, Quality, and Manufacturing to address product issues • Creating and delivering quality inspection plans and reports that provide data to Manufacturing and customers • Reviewing inspection data and assisting in the development preventative action plans • Retrieving quality data and communicating results and statuses to internal and external customers • Intermediate knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing • Experience using PolyWorks software • Experience using the following measurement/inspection equipment: o Portable CMM o Laser Tracker o High Volume Scanner (ex. Surphaser) • 4 year technical degree or relevant experience
