Position Overview

The Porter works on-site to complete all groundskeeping tasks as directed by their supervisor. Their responsibilities include:

• Removing trash from the facility • Preparing trash for pickup by the waste hauler • Mopping and performing daily cleaning of assigned areas • Cleaning and sweeping swimming pools as required • Arranging property furniture as directed • Mopping and vacuuming daily in all areas required • Ensuring all amenity areas stay clean and presentable throughout the day • Responsible for ensuring product presentation meets brand and company standards at all time

What You Will Do

Groundskeeping and Upkeep of property

• Ensure completion of daily checklists • Maintain exterior cleanliness and overall curb appeal for the property • Maintain landscaping in good repair, in between 3rd party service visits • Clean and sweep swimming pools as required • Arrange property furniture as directed • Mop and vacuum daily in all areas required • Ensure all amenity areas stay clean and presentable throughout the day • Responsible for ensuring product presentation meets brand and company standards at all time

Other Requirements

• Must be able to work a full shift, required work schedule on-site at the property • Must be available for additional hours, including evenings, weekends, and overtime when necessary • Must be available to assist with move-outs, turn, and move-ins that extend beyond normal full-time hours • Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly, as required by the demands of the job • This may include bending, stooping, and lifting throughout the workday

Ideal Candidate

• High School or equivalent education preferred • Proficient in simple computer tasks • Experience with One year experience in maintenance or a skilled trade • Experience in the student housing or multi-family industry
