POSITION SUMMARY: 

This position is responsible for cleaningprojectsrequiringadvanced trainingand demonstrated skill.Inspects

work performed in assigned building/property(s)and submits reports to theSupervisor. Positions maybe indoors to maintain theinteriorof the community, outdoors to maintain the exterior, oramixtureof both.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: 

   Performs a varietyof cleaning/maintenancedutiesas assigned includingbut notlimited to sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, replacinglight bulbs and window cleaning.

       Informs Supervisorof needed supplies.

       Maintains allcleaningsolutions in accordancetoOSHA requirements forhazardous chemicals.

       Removes trash from premises and assistsin emergencycleaning.

       Abilityto properlyutilizenew equipmentand follow safetyprocedures priorto usingthis equipment.

       Maintains friendlyand professional attitude.

       Responsible formaintainingthe appropriatelevelofsanitaryandcleaningsupplies for assigned areas.

       Inspects all assigned areas dailyandreports all cleaning and maintenancediscrepancies to Supervisor.

       Ensures that securityproceduresare adhered to atalltimes.

       Ensures all safetyprecautions arefollowed whileperformingwork.

       Maintains working relationship with buildingstaff.

       Furnishes and burnishesfloors as required.

       Completes dailywork orders as scheduled.

       Responsible formaintainingthe appropriatelevelofsanitaryandcleaningsupplies for assigned areas.

Maintains assignedequipment in good workingcondition.

   As applicable, cleans restrooms: Sweeps and mops floors. Refillsalldispensers such as hand towels,toilet paper&hand soap. Cleans toilets, urinals, sinks,mirrors & counters. Empties/removes trash. Reports any discrepancies ordeficiencies to supervisor.

       Abilityto properlyutilizenew equipmentand follow safetyprocedures priorto usingthis equipment.

OPERATINGSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES: 

Education/Training: 

       High school diplomaor equivalencypreferred. 

Experience/Knowledge/Abilities: 

       Previous custodial experiencepreferred. 

       Effectivewritten and verbal communication skills.

       Strongcustomer service,communication and interpersonal skills required.
