About the Role: 
Crown View Manor I Condominium in West Orange, NJ is looking for a dependable and hardworking Porter to join our team! This is a great opportunity to be a vital part of a residential community where your efforts directly contribute to the comfort and satisfaction of our residents every day. 

 
Responsibilities: 

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of all common areas, hallways, lobbies, and building exteriors
• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal
• Assist with light maintenance and repair tasks as needed throughout the property
• Monitor and maintain laundry rooms, parking areas, and other shared amenities
• Remove and manage trash and recycling in accordance with community guidelines
• Respond promptly to resident requests and facility needs in a courteous manner
• Report any safety hazards, maintenance issues, or damage to property management

Requirements:
 

• Prior experience as a Porter, Janitor, Custodian, or in building maintenance preferred
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, welcoming environment
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with residents and staff
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to work weekends or varied shifts as needed
