Job Title: Portfolio Accounting Analyst
Pay: $33.33 per hour
Hours: 8:30am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday
Start Date: ASAP

As a Portfolio Accounting Analyst, you'll be instrumental in tracking expenses, forecasting performance, and ensuring financial reports are accurate and compliant. You’ll collaborate closely with the operations team to manage transactions, reconcile accounts, and support bond and loan settlements.

What You’ll Do
As a Portfolio Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for:
  • Setting up and maintaining asset profiles in trust accounting and reporting systems
  • Updating and reconciling trust reporting databases, ensuring data consistency across applications
  • Handling daily cash receipting, wiring, and investment transactions
  • Journalizing and reconciling daily cash and investment activities
  • Communicating with the Operations Group to manage bond and loan settlements
  • Reviewing overdrawn accounts and ensuring accurate reconciliation
  • Responding to bondholder inquiries and performing data entry as needed


What You’ll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Understanding of general accounting and financial reporting principles
  • Knowledge of structured credit products
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially advanced Excel skills with complex formulas and modeling techniques
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
