Role Overview
The Portfolio Manager is a licensed Fiduciary Advisor who works out of our corporate office maintaining and continuing the relationship with and established book of current Trajan Wealth customers. A technical understanding of the financial markets and retirement planning is a must. Strong bias toward client centric service and ability to sell additional financial products.
Note: This position would be 100% onsite at our Scottsdale corporate office. Relocation assistance available.
Duties and responsibilities
- Virtual and by phone meet with clients and continue to develop the relationship
- Introduce new clients to the portfolio management team and concept.
- Work with Client Services to receive funding and keep client apprised
- Fund account, communicate with client, Establish "client portal" training
- Conduct reviews and periodic "check-in" calls with clients
- Introduce benefits of other team members as needed
- Uncover Estate Planning needs and schedule Estate Appointments with attorneys
- Retirement Planning as needed
- Tax Planning as needed
- Uncover new assets and coordinate inbound transfer of assets
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- Clean U4
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Financial designation preferred; CFP, CFA, CIMA, CPA
- Securities licenses/Certification - Series 65 or (7&66)
- Arizona Life and Annuity License
- 3 years of financial investment advisor experience preferred
- 3 years of experience utilizing a CRM system
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong interpersonal and analysis skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive
