Portfolio Operations Associates support portfolio managers, investment teams, and operations groups by managing portfolio data, investment processes, and reporting workflows. The role blends operational oversight, analytical monitoring, and portfolio support in fast-paced investment environments.
This position works closely with portfolio managers, fund accountants, and operations teams to ensure accurate portfolio tracking, timely reporting, and smooth execution of investment-related activities.
Assist with portfolio monitoring, position reconciliations, and investment tracking
Support trade processing, settlements, and reconciliation of portfolio transactions
Prepare performance reports, P&L analyses, and operational dashboards for portfolio managers
Maintain accurate records of portfolio holdings, valuations, and fund allocations
Support investor reporting and fund administration processes
Collaborate with compliance, accounting, and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting
Identify and resolve discrepancies, operational inefficiencies, and data issues
Assist in process improvements and automation of portfolio operations workflows
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
Familiarity with portfolio operations, fund accounting, or investment administration
Experience with investment reporting, reconciliation, or portfolio monitoring is preferred
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel; experience with portfolio management or fund administration platforms is a plus
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Clear written and verbal communication skills
