QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements

  • Previous field service experience with POS systems, pin pads, or retail technology
  • Strong hardware troubleshooting and installation skills
  • Basic networking knowledge, including Ethernet connectivity
  • Ability to follow detailed installation instructions
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to customer locations
  • Smartphone with internet access for communication and ticket updates
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Verifone, Ingenico, PAX, or similar payment devices
  • Experience supporting retail technology deployments
  • Low-voltage, structured cabling, or networking experience
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Install, replace, and configure payment terminals and pin pad devices
  • Perform onsite troubleshooting and break/fix repairs
  • Disconnect and reconnect peripherals, power, and network connections
  • Verify device functionality and successful transaction processing
  • Complete equipment upgrades, swaps, and deployments according to project guidelines
  • Document work performed and update service tickets in real time
  • Communicate professionally with store personnel and support teams
  • Follow all site procedures and service-level requirements
