Job Summary:

As a Positive Supports Analyst (PSA), you would provide direct services to individuals with disabilities. Working under the supervision of a Positive Support Professional (PSP) you would complete functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop positive support plans. This role relies on the ability to analyze behavioral data, support person-centered planning, and ensure compliance with both Home and Community Based Services (245D) and Minnesota’s Positive Supports Rule (9544). The PSA partners with the individual’s team to improve outcomes, increase quality of life, and reduce the use of restrictive interventions.

  • Salary: $55,000 to $60,000 annual salary based upon qualifications
  • Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

How will you make a difference?

As part of our team, you will:

  • Work directly with persons served.

· Conduct interviews and observations for development of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and positive support plans (PSPs).

· Work together with families, staff, case managers, and interdisciplinary team members.

· Attend team meetings, clinical reviews, and planning sessions.

· Go to various locations to gather data and oversee plan implementation.

· Train staff and family members in best practices.

· Maintain accurate records of behavioral outcomes, progress toward goals, and quality metrics.

· Conduct quarterly reviews and write reports for regulatory compliance.

· Ensure compliance with Minnesota’s Positive Supports Rule (MN Statutes 245D & 9544), organizational policies, and licensing standards.

· Attend team meetings, clinical reviews, and planning sessions.

What will you bring to Opportunity Partners?

  • Bachelor’s or higher in psychology, human services, social work, or related field.
  • Education sufficient to meet the PSA requirements from DHS or be trained at start of position.
  • At least two years of supervised experience in social services, preferably conducting FBAs and implementing behavior plans.
  • Experience with individuals with high behaviors and mental health challenges.
  • Understanding of Positive Behavioral Supports, waivered services, and MN 245D standards.
  • Strong communication, organization, and data interpretation skills.
  • Experience with data reporting tools preferred.
