Post Acute Care Physician - Hilton Head, SC

StaffMed Health Partners is recruiting a Post-Acute Care Facility Medical Director for a leading national physician services organization in a SNF setting in Hilton Head, SC.

Position Highlights:

• Serve as dedicated Facility Medical Director per CMS F-Tag 841 for one or more SNF sites
• Provide on-the-ground clinical leadership: physician coverage assurance, on-call backup, escalation pathway
• Round on a focused attending panel (typically 30-50 patients) alongside leadership duties
• Lead QAPI, infection prevention, antibiotic stewardship, and survey readiness for the facility
• Mentor and supervise on-site APPs and rotating attendings
• Partner directly with the Director of Nursing and Administrator on clinical operations

Qualifications:

• BC in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics
• Prior SNF / post-acute experience strongly preferred
• CMD credential preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfort with regulatory compliance, MDS, PDPM, and survey response
• Active state license (or eligible) and DEA where applicable
