    Post Bond Assembly - 3rd Shift

    Dayton, OH

    Noise, Vibration, and Harshness Division

    Engineered Materials Group

    Parker Lord's Dayton facility manufactures passive vibration mounts for commercial and military aerospace applications. Our core competencies include machining and rubber-to-metal bonding, and we hold multiple industry and aerospace customer certifications, including AS9100 and NADCAP.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Assembles aerospace components utilizing a variety of tools and equipment
    • Supports Post Bond by performing job duties in the area when required
    • Completes necessary paperwork and documentation to ensure quality conformance and the proper movement and control of product
    • Ensures all equipment and materials used to perform job functions are compliant to procedures
    • Proactively improves area processes, procedures and documentation through Kaizen activities and collaboration with area leadership and Engineering
    • Performs all required preventative maintenance activities
    • Aid in preparation for and participates in all required area audits
    • Adheres to all safety guidelines and procedures
    • Other assignments as required

    Qualifications

    • Capable of reading and understanding written instructions and or procedures, to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, operating instructions and procedure manuals.

    • Self motivated and ability to work effectively and efficiently with limited supervision

    • Strong attention to detail and committed to ensuring product quality and conformance to customer requirements

    • Builds strong working relationships and creates an environment focused on teamwork

    • Flexible with changing work and job assignments and willingness to perform any function as needed.

    • Must be able to work daily and weekend overtime with limited notice

    • Able to communicate effectively with management, co-workers and perform simple problem solving activities

    • Knowledge of basic mathematical skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

    • Ability to carry/ lift up to 35 lbs. (50% of the time). Must have the ability to stand, kneel, squat, stoop, use fingers and hands to feel, lift or handle tools, parts and equipment.

    Education Required

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent

    Work Experience

    • 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or similar work environment

    • 2+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing preferred
