    Job Overview

    Valcor Security is currently seeking a highly professional and experienced Post Commander for a confidential security assignment. This leadership position requires a strong operational mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively supervise and manage a security team in a high-expectation environment.

    The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, operational awareness, and the ability to maintain professionalism while ensuring site security, team accountability, and client satisfaction. This role is critical to maintaining operational excellence and requires someone who can lead by example while enforcing company standards and site protocols.

    Qualifications

    • USA Veteran or former Law Enforcement highly preferred
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in security
    • Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience required
    • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
    • Professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills
    • Ability to manage staff and maintain discipline on site
    • Strong situational awareness and decision-making ability
    • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
    • Experience handling incident documentation and operational reporting
    • California Guard Card required
    • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance strongly preferred

    Key Responsibilities

    Operational Leadership

    • Supervise and support the security team assigned to the location
    • Ensure all officers follow site-specific SOPs and company standards
    • Maintain a professional and structured security presence on site
    • Conduct shift briefings and communicate operational updates to staff
    • Ensure officers maintain proper uniform standards and professionalism
    • Monitor overall site performance and address operational deficiencies immediately

    Training and Development

    • Conduct on-site training for new officers assigned to the location
    • Ensure all guards are fully trained on procedures, expectations, and incident response
    • Maintain operational consistency and performance standards
    • Provide coaching, corrective guidance, and ongoing support to officers as needed

    Client Relations

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for client representatives
    • Maintain strong professional communication with site management
    • Address operational concerns quickly and effectively
    • Maintain a positive and solutions-oriented relationship with the client

    Security Operations

    • Monitor building entrances and maintain visible security presence
    • Identify and address suspicious activity, theft, loitering, vandalism, or safety concerns
    • Ensure the safety of residents, staff, visitors, and property
    • Respond appropriately to emergencies, disturbances, or security incidents
    • Conduct routine patrols and security checks as required by site protocols

    Reporting and Compliance

    • Complete incident reports and operational documentation when necessary
    • Ensure proper shift coverage and operational continuity
    • Communicate with Valcor management regarding site performance or concerns
    • Maintain accurate daily activity reports and pass-down logs
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, client expectations, and California security regulations
