Post Doc Res Associate

Job Summary

The de Lacy lab at the University of Utah is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join an interdisciplinary research team developing a novel psychometric instrument to assess psychological resilience in adults. This study integrates clinical, psychological, and quantitative methods and is led by Nina de Lacy (Dept. of Psychiatry) with co-investigators Brian Baucom and Rob Lubeznik-Warner (Dept. of Psychology), offering a rich mentorship environment. The position is ideal for a postdoctoral scholar interested in clinical research methods, human subjects research protocols and statistical methods with a primary focus on conducting participant study visits and performing statistical analysis. There will be opportunities for involvement in data analysis, instrument validation and publication. This postdoctoral position will be for one year with the possibility of renewal thereafter.

Time Limited: 1 year with the possibility of extension



Responsibilities
Study Implementation & Participant Interaction:
• Administer semi structured interviews and psychometric measures according to protocol during in-person and online study visits
• Ensure fidelity to study procedures and human subjects protections
• Serve as a key point of contact for participants
• Collaborate closely with faculty investigators, project administrator and staff

Research & Scientific Activities:
• Participate in ongoing discussions regarding measure development and validation
• Collaborate in data interpretation and analysis with the research team
• Contribute to manuscript and training material preparation
• Engage in IRB related activities, protocol amendments, and study documentation



Minimum Qualifications


Preferences
The successful candidate will have a PhD in a field such as psychology, neuroscience, statistics, bioinformatics, public health or sociology or an MD or an MD/PhD.
