Position Summary

Dr. Pengda Liu lab in Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to focus on identification and validation of new drug targets for cancer therapy.

Specifically, the qualified candidate will carry out wet-lab investigations to elucidate novel molecules in controlling tumor immunity, identify new drug targets, optimize currently developed cancer therapeutics, and help the PI with grant applications and normal lab operations.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

A Ph.D. Degree in biomedical sciences

Previous research experiences and trainings on cell signaling studies and tumor immunity/innate immunity is preferred.
