Classification Minimum Requirements:

Ph.D., Dr.P.H., Psy.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in psychology, public health, behavioral science, epidemiology, biostatistics, health services research, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated record of scholarly productivity, including peer-reviewed publications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include coordinating research activities; developing study protocols and research materials; managing and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data; preparing manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication; presenting findings at scientific conferences; assisting with grant preparation and reporting; and supporting clinical trial development and implementation. The candidate will work closely with investigators, clinicians, and trainees to advance innovative research aimed at improving health and quality of life among individuals with chronic health conditions.

 

The position offers extensive opportunities for professional development, including mentorship in research design, statistical analysis, clinical trial methodology, scientific writing, grant development, and academic career advancement. The successful candidate will be encouraged to develop an independent program of research while contributing to ongoing projects and pursuing scholarly productivity through publications and external funding opportunities.

Candidates must hold a Ph.D., Psy.D., Dr.P.H., or equivalent doctoral degree in psychology, public health, behavioral science, health outcomes research, epidemiology, or a related field. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in chronic pain research, behavioral intervention development, clinical trials, women's health, longitudinal data analysis, and/or mixed-methods research. Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated scholarly productivity, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team are essential.

Expected Salary:

$65,000/yr, commensurate with education/experience

Required Qualifications:

Ph.D., Dr.P.H., Psy.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in psychology, public health, behavioral science, epidemiology, biostatistics, health services research, or a related field.

Preferred:
  • Experience conducting clinical, behavioral, or health-related research.
  • Experience with statistical software (e.g., R, SAS, SPSS, Stata).
  • Experience with grant writing and scientific dissemination.
  • Interest in chronic pain management, health behavior change, resilience, aging, or related areas.
