Position Summary:
The Denzin lab in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, VCU School of Medicine, has anopening for a Post-Doctoral Fellow to study novel regulators of the MHC classII antigen processing and presentation pathway. To study these, we utilize invivo mouse genetics, confocal microscopy, viral-vector based manipulation ofgenes, cell cultures and state-of-the-art biochemical and molecular approaches.We offer an intellectual, collaborative, and multidisciplinary research environmentto support career goals and provide access to modern facilities. Candidateswith background knowledge and hands-on experience in immunology, biochemistry,molecular biology, or other relevant fields. Applicants with strongimmunological and cell biological knowledge and skills are particularlywelcome.
