Applicants are invited for a postdoctoral research fellow position within the Translational Imaging Group in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine.
The role involves working on federally funded projects related to neuroimaging of traumatic brain injury and neurodegenerative disorders, including neuromodulation using image-guided focused ultrasound.
The candidate will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team engaged in preclinical imaging, gaining skills in advanced image processing, data analysis, and novel imaging techniques like MR-guided Focus Ultrasound.
Opportunities also include exposure to clinical research, emphasizing the translation of pre-clinical findings to clinical applications.
Requirements include a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, neuroscience, or related fields, with knowledge of MR physics, computer languages (e.g., Matlab), and imaging data analysis software (e.g., SPM, FSL, ImageJ). Experience in small animal imaging is desirable.
