The Boonville R-1 School District is accepting applications for a Post-Secondary (RootEd) Advisor for the 2026–2027 school year. This position is contingent upon and will only be filled if grant funding is approved and available. The RootEd Advisor is embedded within the school to proactively support high school students through each step of career exploration and postsecondary attainment. In collaboration with high school counselors, the advisor assists students in developing and expanding Individual Career and Academic Plans (ICAP), exploring postsecondary options, and preparing for life after graduation. Responsibilities include supporting college enrollment (college fit discussions, applications, and orientation), assisting students in earning industry credentials or entering the workforce, guiding students interested in military service, and ensuring completion of the FAFSA, among other postsecondary readiness activities. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position.
