Post-Settlement/Transactional Associate Attorney

A highly respected and rapidly growing California plaintiff-side employment law firm is seeking a Post-Settlement / Transactional Associate Attorney to join its collaborative legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys the transactional and settlement side of complex employment litigation and wants to play a key role in the successful execution of class action settlements.This position offers the opportunity to work alongside accomplished trial attorneys while managing the critical legal processes that occur after settlement, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and exceptional outcomes for clients.Key Responsibilities Negotiate, draft, review, and revise settlement agreements and other legal contractsPrepare motions and supporting documents related to class action settlement approvalsCollaborate with settlement administrators to facilitate efficient and compliant settlement administrationDraft and refine class notices, claim forms, and related settlement communicationsMonitor settlement administration activities to ensure compliance with court orders and legal requirementsCoordinate with internal legal teams and external stakeholders throughout the settlement processIdentify and resolve issues that arise during settlement implementationQualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolActive California Bar membership in good standingMinimum of 2 years of employment law experienceExperience handling post-settlement matters, class action settlements, or related transactional legal work preferredStrong contract drafting, negotiation, and analytical skillsExceptional attention to detail and organizational abilitiesAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsWhat You'll Find Opportunity to work with a highly successful plaintiff-side employment law practiceCollaborative and team-oriented cultureExposure to sophisticated class action and complex employment mattersCareer growth within a rapidly expanding organizationCompetitive compensation and benefits packageCompensation Total compensation range: $140,000 - $200,000 annually, including base salary and performance-based incentives.
