What We're Looking For:
Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. Graduate of accredited Practical Nursing Program, required.
Experience: One year of relevant experience, required.
Licensure/Certification: Appropriate state LPN license, required.
Provide direct patient care to post-surgical and medically complex patients.
Monitor patient status and promptly communicate changes in condition to the care team.
Perform wound care, dressing changes, and assist with management of surgical drains and NG tubes.
Administer medications and treatments within the LPN scope of practice.
Assist with tube feedings, anticoagulant therapy, and other specialized treatments.
Support pain management plans and promote patient comfort throughout recovery.
Reinforce patient and family education regarding medications, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions.
Collaborate with RNs, providers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
Accurately document patient care, treatments, and responses in the electronic medical record.
Promote patient safety and contribute to positive patient outcomes and experiences.
