Description & Requirements

The Post Trade Implementation Team

The Post Trade Implementation team delivers end-to-end implementation services for Bloomberg's Transaction Cost Analysis (BTCA), Regulatory Reporting (BRRS), Digital Strategy, and Compliance (Vault) solutions. We work closely with clients to scope, integrate, and deploy these products within their existing operating environments, enabling effective transaction cost analysis, regulatory reporting, surveillance, and data archiving.

We partner with Sales and Account Management throughout the implementation lifecycle to ensure solutions meet client needs and collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Service teams to deliver a seamless, high-quality onboarding experience.

What's the role?

We are seeking a Post Trade Implementation Specialist to support our Bloomberg Regulatory Reporting Solution (BRRS) in New York. In this client-facing role, you will lead end-to-end implementations, coordinate complex onboarding projects, and help deliver successful outcomes for strategic clients.

You will serve as the primary point of contact throughout the implementation lifecycle, partnering with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, meet client requirements, and provide a smooth onboarding experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end client implementations of Bloomberg's Regulatory Reporting Solution (BRRS), managing project scope, timelines, dependencies, and successful client onboarding.

  • Partner with Sales and clients to gather business and regulatory requirements, define project scope, and develop implementation approaches aligned with client needs.

  • Coordinate technical and functional integrations, including data onboarding, validation, and solution configuration across client environments.

  • Partner with Sales and Account Management during pre-sales, implementation, and onboarding to ensure client expectations are clearly defined and met.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout implementation, providing regular project updates, managing expectations, and resolving issues.

  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Service teams to escalate issues, provide client feedback, and contribute to ongoing product and process improvements.

  • Support implementation governance, documentation, and best practices to promote consistent, scalable, and high-quality client delivery.

We'll trust you to:

  • Own complex client implementations from project kickoff through successful delivery.

  • Develop and drive detailed project plans across internal teams, external vendors, and client stakeholders.

  • Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.

  • Translate client business and regulatory requirements into clear implementation plans and deliverables.

  • Communicate project status, milestones, risks, and next steps to clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Promote implementation best practices and standardized project delivery methodologies.

  • Monitor project health using established KPIs and governance processes, escalating issues when appropriate.

  • Stay current on regulatory developments, market structure changes, and Bloomberg product enhancements.

  • Build trusted relationships with clients and internal partners throughout the implementation lifecycle.

You'll need to have:

  • 5+ years of experience managing complex client implementations or projects in fast-paced, collaborative environments.

  • Hands-on experience coordinating projects across multiple internal teams, vendors, and clients.

  • Experience supporting or working with trading, post-trade, and/or compliance workflows.

  • Understanding of the trading lifecycle, trading workflows, and financial market terminology.

  • Ability to translate business and regulatory requirements into clear, executable implementation plans.

  • Strong data analysis and validation skills, including experience working with large datasets.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills, including experience working with CSV files and FIX messaging workflows.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Comfort operating in evolving regulatory environments with changing client requirements.

We'd love to see:

  • Experience in implementation, client delivery, onboarding, or project management roles within financial technology or capital markets.

  • Experience gathering and documenting complex business and regulatory requirements.

  • Proven success leading complex, client-facing implementation engagements.

  • Knowledge of Fixed Income, Equities, FX, and/or OTC markets.

  • Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments with multiple stakeholders.
