The Department of Civil, Environmental, and Architectural Engineering and the Materials Science and Engineering Program invite applications for a Postdoctoral Associate position under the joint supervision of Prof. Mija Hubler and Prof. Wil Srubar. The University of Colorado provides an outstanding, world-class environment for conducting advanced materials science research.
A highly motivated and independent scholar is sought with training and deep expertise in the areas of biological engineering, materials science and engineering, environmental engineering, civil engineering, or a related discipline.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
The Postdoctoral Associate will design and conduct experiments on the biological repair of aged concrete. When appropriate, the Postdoctoral Research Associate will participate in and support technology transfer activities to support the commercialization of the work. The Postdoctoral Research Associate will be expected to contribute to enhancing the vision and mission of a vibrant, cross-disciplinary collaborative research team at the University of Colorado Boulder at the intersection of biology, materials science, and civil and architectural engineering.

The starting salary for this position will be $65,000 annually.
