A postdoctoral fellowship position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Khalid El Saafien, investigating baroreception and vascular stretch in cardiovascular disease.
Dr. El Saafiens lab is located in the Department of Molecular and Cellular Physiology at Louisiana State University Health Shreveport, with a long-term interest in autonomic neuroscience, sensory afferents, baroreception, and cardiovascular disease (CVD).
In association with the Center for Cardiovascular Diseases and Sciences (CCDS), the fellow will receive extensive training and build up the networks in:
