Title Postdoctoral Fellowship in Applied Physics School Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences Department/Area Applied Physics Position Description

The Loncar Group is looking for a postdoctoral fellow with expertise in nanofabrication, integrated optics, nonlinear optics, and microwave photonics. The candidate will focus on design, fabrication, and characterization of chip-scale photonic devices and systems, and their application in microwave photonics.

Basic Qualifications

Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics or Physics is required

Additional Qualifications

  • Strong background and interest in nanofabrication, including development of novel nanofabrication strategies.
  • Expertise with building optical setups, lasers, electronics, including microwave electronics
  • Strong interpersonal and mentorship skills and ability to interact with a diverse team
