The Department of Population & Community Health in the College of Public Health at UNT Health, Fort Worth is seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Research Associate.
The Department of Population & Community Health in the College of Public Health at The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth advances applied public health research, community engaged scholarship, and graduate education. The department contributes to UNTHSC’s mission through interdisciplinary collaboration, innovative research, and partnerships that strengthen population and community health across North Texas and beyond. Faculty, staff, and trainees work together to support evidence informed practice, community partnerships, and public health workforce development aligned with the School of Public Health’s strategic priorities.
Position Overview
The individual in this position will contribute to mixed‑methods evaluation activities, data management, analytic planning, manuscript development, and dissemination efforts. The position offers opportunities to engage in applied public health research, collaborate with interdisciplinary faculty, and strengthen skills in program evaluation, quantitative and qualitative methods, and scientific writing.
This is a full‑time staff position classified as a Postdoctoral Research Associate within the UNT System. The appointment is for one year with the possibility of renewal based on performance and funding.
Minimum Qualifications
Doctoral degree. If not yet conferred, a letter from the school's official Graduate Office and/or Registrar's Office certifying that all requirements have been met and stating the degree conferral date can be accepted. Employees in this job may be responsible for conducting research on, working on, or having the ability to access critical organizational infrastructure and they must be able to maintain the security and integrity of the infrastructure related to this role.
