Position Qualification
Position Summary The WANG Lab at the University of Nebraska Medical Centers Department of Neurological Sciences is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate. The Postdoctoral Research Associate will contribute to developing and/or applying artificial intelligence, machine learning, and image segmentation, and/or data science-based methods to address cutting-edge topics, including but not limited to disease diagnosis, prognosis, biomarkers identification, and treatment prediction, etc.
Required Qualifications
A PhD by time of hiring in a relevant field. Relevant fields include but are not limited to: • Computer Science • Statistics • Mathematics • Automation • Informatics • Engineering
Experience in deep learning, machine learning, and medical imaging processing Programming experience in Python, MATLAB, SPSS, Shell Experience in working with Linux workstation Excellent organizational and time-management skills and ability to self-direct work Ability to work as a team member Excellent verbal and written communication skills
