The ideal candidate for this position will have an advanced (terminal) degree and experience working in a biological lab. The candidate will be expected to perform independent and team research, analyze results, and present their work to their scientific and medical colleagues, including by publishing their research in scientific journals. The postdoc needs strong skills in aseptic tissue culture techniques and common biological assays to study expression of various genes and proteins in cells and tissues in studying the mechanisms underlying cellular therapies and regenerative medicine. Experience in fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, assays for inflammation, and mixed cell assays is preferred.

A biomedical postdoc position provides an opportunity for early-career researchers to gain valuable experience, develop independent research skills, and contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge in their field of expertise.
Position Key Accountabilities:
1. Plans and conducts experiments, analyzes data, and prepares publications describing results.
2. Assists in training and mentoring of lab personnel, including graduate students and other trainees.
3. Reads and evaluates literature.
4. Possess interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate and communicate with individuals at all levels.
5. Have strong written and oral communication skills.
6. Performs other duties that involve exploring immune modulation by stem cells using a variety of quantitative assays in models of traumatic brain injury. The successful candidate will be able to translate in vitro culture systems into mechanisms of efficacy in vivo in a multidisciplinary setting.as assigned.
