Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience

Minimum Education: Ph.D. in chemistry, physics, computer science, or a related field, or Ph.D. expected by May 2027.

Experience:

Demonstrated experience in at least one of the following areas:

  • Methodology development in wavefunction-based electronic structure methods, quantum Monte Carlo, tensor networks, or quantum embedding methods, etc.
  • ML-augmented numerical method development.
  • High-performance computing (HPC).
  • Quantum algorithm design.
  • Error correction or error mitigation.

Certifications/Licenses Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong background in quantum chemistry, computational physics, machine learning or quantum information; Proficiency in scientific programming; Excellent communication and scientific writing skills.
