A Postdoctoral Researcher position is immediately available in the Dave Moz Lab (Chemistry Department and BioInspired Institute at Syracuse University), to develop nature-inspired strategies for controlling the structure and mechanics of biopolymer condensates.
This NIH-funded project aims to use post-translational modifications to alter the interfacial and rheological properties of all aqueous emulsions derived from the liquid-liquid phase separation of proteins.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in the experimental characterization of soft condensed matter as demonstrated by publications in the field.
This position is part of a bargaining unit and is represented by the union SEIU, Local 200United.
