Supervisor/PI: Dr. Khalid Sossey-Alaoui
Work in a project that deals with role of Kindlin-2 in driving the progression and metastasis of breast cancer with special emphasis of TNBC tumor interaction with immune microenvironment.
Ability to work independently, including designing and executing experiments in consultation with PI; presenting the data in raw format as well as in high quality format during lab meetings as well as local, regional, national and international conferences. The candidate must have excellent scientific oral and writing skills to be able to put the data in publication-quality formats.
Expertise in basic molecular biology techniques
Expertise in bioinformatics
Experience and/or interest in tumor biology and animal models
A strong interest in translational cancer research
Be able to work with other members of the lab and to mentor graduate students and research assistants.
"In compliance with the City of Cleveland's Pay Transparency Ordinance (effective October 27, 2025), the annual starting base salary range for this position is $55,000 - $63,480. CWRU considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
