PostgreSQL DBA - 100% Remote

Job Description:

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a PostgreSQL DBA
• Experience in administering PostgreSQL databases
• Working experience using PostgreSQL ver. 16 and higher.
• Experience with Database and SQL Tuning using PostgreSQL
• Assist development teams in optimizing PostgreSQL
• PostgreSQL backup and restore
• Designing and managing PostgreSQL database schemas
• Proficient in SQL and advanced SQL
• Experience in security access control
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly motivated, able to work both in a team and solo
• Must be able to meet deadlines and work well under pressure

At least 3+ years of hands-on EDB administration with experience in below:

• EFM (EDB Postgres Failover Manager)
• Search Path
• EPAS Advanced Database administration
• VACUUM Full or 3^rd party tools
• pgbouncer, pgpool
• EFM and streaming replication
• Logical replication
• PEM for monitoring
• MTK for migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL
• Backup and recovery Tool

Preferred Qualifications for Consideration:

• Certification in PostgreSQL is preferred.
• Experience with PGD is preferred.
• Experience with MongoDB is preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure - Nice to have
• Experience with other databases Like Oracle - Nice to have
