The GACTC is seeking a dedicated professional to lead our Postsecondary Welding Diploma Program.
The coordinator & lead instructor is responsible for the instructional delivery and the administrative oversight of the evening postsecondary adult diploma program. Interested candidates should have welding industry experience, the ability to teach both theory and hands-on curriculum as assigned, and a commitment to student learning.
The program coordinator & lead instructor will deliver high-quality instruction aligned to the welding curriculum, including theory demonstrations and supervised shop activities. The program coordinator & lead instructor will maintain a safe learning environment by enforcing occupational hazards safety practices and regulatory standards.
This is a part-time position, with a teaching schedule typically evenings Monday - Thursdays, from fall through May. Interested candidates should have at least 4 years of welding experience, and should have or be willing to obtain American Welding Society certifications, ideally GMAW 2G SMAW 3G, and FCAW 3G. Teaching or training experience is preferred but not required.
The anticipated start date for this position is July 1, 2026.
