Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking experienced Powder Coaters to join a growing manufacturing team in Tulsa. This position is responsible for preparing parts, applying powder coatings, inspecting finished products, and ensuring all work meets company quality standards while maintaining a safe and efficient production environment.
The ideal candidate has previous powder coating experience, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in producing consistent, high-quality finishes.
Required Experience & Skills
Previous powder coating experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to follow production schedules and work instructions
Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare metal parts and components for powder coating operations
Apply powder coating according to company specifications and quality standards
Inspect finished products for coating consistency, appearance, and overall quality
Touch up or rework coated parts as needed to meet production requirements
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and production guidelines
Meet daily production goals while maintaining high-quality workmanship
Perform additional production and finishing duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in industrial finishing or manufacturing environments
Knowledge of powder coating equipment and application techniques
Experience working with metal fabrication or manufactured components
Familiarity with quality inspection procedures for finished coatings
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift
Ability to safely work around powder coating equipment while wearing required PPE
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment around industrial machinery and production equipment
Work Environment
Industrial manufacturing and finishing facility
