SURESTAFF is immediately hiring
Powder Coat Painter for a large, well-known client in
Mundelein, IL. Ideal applicants should have experience in Powder Coating on stainless steel. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All Temp-To-Hire employees are offered competitive compensation
$18-$24/HR as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).
Available shifts include:1st Shift 6am-2:30pm2nd Shift 2:30-11:00pm.
Powder Coat Painter Duties and Responsibilities:- Applies specified powder to product in accordance with standards for proper coverage, thickness and surface quality.
- Adjusts valves and observes gauges to set pressure and control flow of powder to gun.
- Performs color changes required by customer specifications.
- Ensure color chip matches powder coat scheduled.
- Maintains cleanliness of booth, spray gun, and surrounding area.
- Wears all required PPE such as respirator, Tyvek suit, face shield.
- Returns powder to storage daily.
- Inspect parts to ensure quality coverage.
- May help out in other areas of the plant.
- Inform supervisor when supplies are low.
- Maintain powder storage organization.
Powder Coat Painter Requirements and Qualifications:- Minimum of 3 years’ experience
- Ability to follow procedures and instructions per ISO requirements
- Good written & verbal skills; Bilingual is a plus
- Ability and willingness to work overtime when necessary
- High School Diploma or equivalent
