Rate Range: $50.00 - $53/hour on W2/ C2C (All inclusive)

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Power BI / Client Fabric Developer to support end-to-end BI implementation initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing enterprise-grade BI solutions using Client Fabric and Power BI.

The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translating them into scalable BI solutions, and ensuring best practices in reporting, data modeling, and data integration are followed. The candidate will also guide and support existing BI teams, ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to target architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI (Desktop & Service)
• Build and optimize data models using DAX and Power Query (M language)
• Work with Client Fabric to develop end-to-end BI solutions
• Implement and maintain data models using star schema (facts and dimensions)
• Understand and support ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformations
• Integrate data from multiple sources including APIs and cloud platforms (Azure/Fabric preferred)
• Translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions and reporting frameworks
• Support implementation of target-state BI architecture
• Manage data access, security models, and governance for reports and datasets
• Troubleshoot and resolve BI/reporting issues in production environments
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and upskilling to BI developers
• Ensure adherence to Power BI / Fabric best practices and performance optimization standards

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Client Power BI (Desktop & Service)
• Hands-on expertise in Client Fabric (mandatory)
• Advanced knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M language)
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema, dimensional modeling)
• Experience with data warehousing concepts (fact/dimension tables)
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes
• Experience working with Azure or cloud-based data platforms (preferred)
• Familiarity with APIs and data integration tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interaction

Nice to Have

• Experience in enterprise BI architecture design
• Exposure to governance, security, and access control in Power BI/Fabric
• Experience leading or mentoring BI development teams
