Title: Power BI Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade business intelligence solutions using Client Power BI. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data modeling, DAX, Power Query, SQL, and dashboard development, with the ability to transform complex business requirements into interactive and insightful reports. Experience with Azure data services and enterprise data integration is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets.
• Gather and analyze business requirements to create meaningful KPIs and visualizations.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using Power Query (M).
• Build and optimize data models using star schema, relationships, calculated columns, and measures.
• Develop advanced DAX calculations to support business reporting requirements.
• Integrate data from multiple sources, including SQL databases, Excel, SharePoint, REST APIs, and Azure cloud services.
• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and other security best practices within Power BI.
• Optimize report performance, refresh schedules, and dataset efficiency.
• Manage Power BI Service, Gateways, workspaces, and scheduled data refreshes.
• Troubleshoot data, performance, and report-related issues.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to deliver high-quality BI solutions.
• Document data models, report logic, ETL processes, and technical designs.
• Provide production support, enhancements, and ad hoc reporting solutions.

Required Experience

• Experience developing enterprise dashboards and executive reports.
• Experience integrating data from multiple enterprise systems.
• Experience implementing Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Strong understanding of data modeling and BI best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with Azure Data Services (ADF, Synapse, Data Lake).
• Understanding of REST APIs and SharePoint integration.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes is a plus.
• Client Power BI Certification (PL-300) is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
