Description
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and scorecards using Microsoft Power BI.
- Build and maintain data models, datasets, and semantic layers to support enterprise reporting needs.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects within Microsoft SQL Server.
- Create and maintain ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and other Microsoft data integration tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve dashboard, report, data refresh, and performance issues.
- Monitor data quality and validate the accuracy and integrity of reporting outputs.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design and implement KPI dashboards and executive-level reporting solutions.
- Support report deployment, security configuration, and user access management.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries, and reporting standards.
- Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements to existing BI solutions.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Provide end-user training and support for Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Stay current with Microsoft BI technologies, industry trends, and best practices.

Profile
A successful Power BI Developer should have:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- 3-5+ years of experience developing and supporting Microsoft BI solutions.
- Demonstrated experience building Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Experience working with enterprise data warehouses and large datasets.
- Experience troubleshooting and optimizing BI applications and reporting environments.
- Experience supporting professional services or law firm environments.
- Experience with financial, HR, payroll, billing, and operational reporting.
- Microsoft certifications related to Power BI, Azure, or SQL Server.
- Experience with cloud-based Microsoft data platforms.
