Job Title: Power BI Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions. The role involves creating interactive dashboards, transforming data into insights, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Report Development

• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
• Create visually appealing and user-friendly data visualizations
• Design reports based on business requirements

Data Modeling & Transformation

• Build and maintain efficient data models (star/snowflake schema)
• Use DAX for calculations, measures, and KPIs
• Perform data transformation using Power Query (M language)

Data Integration

• Connect and integrate data from multiple sources (SQL Server, Excel, APIs, cloud sources)
• Design and maintain ETL processes
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and validation

Performance Optimization

• Optimize reports and dashboards for better performance
• Monitor dataset refresh and troubleshoot issues
• Improve query performance using best practices

Collaboration

• Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements
• Translate business needs into technical solutions
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with Power BI (Desktop & Service)
• Solid knowledge of DAX and Power Query
• Proficiency in SQL
• Experience in data modeling techniques
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts

Soft Skills

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Experience with Azure (ADF, Data Lake, Synapse)
• Knowledge of Python/R (optional)
• Microsoft Certification (PL-300) is a plus

Experience Requirements

• 6 years of experience in BI/Analytics
• 5 years of hands-on Power BI experience
