Akkodis is seeking a Power BI Support Engineer for a Contract with a client in Irvine, CA. The ideal candidate with experience supporting enterprise reporting platforms, resolving production issues, and delivering actionable business insights through data visualization and analytics.

Rate Range: $50/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Power BI Support Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Provide L2/L3 support for Power BI dashboards, reports, and data pipelines, ensuring high availability and timely resolution of production issues.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data, reporting, and application incidents while conducting root cause analysis (RCA) and implementing preventive measures.

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models to support Capital Markets business and operational reporting needs.

• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks across market data, trades, positions, securities, pricing, and reference data sources.

• Collaborate with business users, operations teams, and technology stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights.

• Create and maintain SOPs, support documentation, knowledge articles, and reporting standards to improve operational efficiency and support processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Finance, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in Power BI development, production support, business intelligence, data analytics, or financial services technology environments.

• Strong expertise in Microsoft Power BI, data modeling, dashboard development, data validation, reporting support, and troubleshooting complex production issues.

• Proven experience working with Capital Markets data, including securities, pricing, trades, positions, and reference data, along with strong analytical, stakeholder management, and root cause analysis skills.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
