Must-haves
- High School Diploma.
- 0–3 years in manufacturing (switchgear experience is a plus).
- Confidence with a tape measure, including fraction-to-decimal and metric-to-imperial conversions.
- Understanding of machines and tools—their design, operation, repair, and maintenance.
- Basic working knowledge of MES (Manufacturing Execution System).
- Safety training/certifications are beneficial.
- Basic English proficiency (written and verbal).

Environment & physical realities
- Safety-sensitive work in a temperature-controlled manufacturing/industrial space, with some outdoor activity.
- PPE required: safety shoes, hard hat or bump cap, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety harnesses as needed; respirators when required.
- Comfortable on step and A-frame ladders.
- Tasks at heights up to about 20 feet using proper lift and fall protection gear.
- Balance and agility while walking, standing, crouching, and using stairs or step ladders.
- Bending at the waist and knees; reaching in all directions.
- Extended standing and walking.
- Frequent overhead work and full arm extension.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Regular use of hand and power tools.
