We are seeking a Power Electronics Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and validation of switched‑mode power supply (SMPS) products for data center, industrial, telecom, EV charging, and power conversion applications. This role is ideal for an engineer with several years of experience in power electronics who is looking to expand their technical expertise while working alongside senior engineers and technical leaders.The successful candidate will contribute to AC‑DC and DC‑DC power converter development, assist with product design activities, support testing and troubleshooting efforts, and participate in cross‑functional engineering projects.Responsibilities Design and develop AC‑DC and DC‑DC power conversion products ranging from hundreds of watts to tens of kilowatts.Assist with schematic design, component selection, and power stage development.Support the design and optimization of power supply topologies including PFC, LLC, phase‑shifted full bridge, flyback, forward, and resonant converters.Participate in laboratory testing, debugging, validation, and performance characterization.Analyze efficiency, thermal performance, EMI/EMC compliance, and reliability of power systems.Work with magnetics engineers on transformers, inductors, and filtering solutions.Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and quality teams throughout product development.Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions for design and field issues.Support product qualification, compliance testing, and manufacturing introduction activities.Document designs, test results, and engineering recommendations.Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.5‑8 years of experience in power electronics or power supply design.Experience with switched‑mode power supplies (SMPS).Understanding of AC‑DC and DC‑DC power conversion fundamentals.Familiarity with common power converter topologies such as flyback, forward, LLC, PFC, or full‑bridge converters.Experience using laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, power analyzers, electronic loads, and network analyzers.Understanding of power semiconductor devices, magnetics, and thermal design principles.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Must be Perm resident or US citizen.Preferred Qualifications Experience designing power supplies for data center, telecom, industrial, medical, or EV charging applications.Exposure to digital power control architectures.Familiarity with SiC and GaN technologies.Knowledge of EMI/EMC design practices and regulatory compliance standards (UL, IEC, CE).Experience with simulation tools such as LTspice, PLECS, PSIM, SIMetrix, or MATLAB/Simulink.Experience supporting products through manufacturing and production release.Key Technical Areas AC‑DC and DC‑DC Power Conversion.Power Factor Correction (PFC).LLC and Resonant Converters.Magnetics Design Fundamentals.Power Semiconductor Selection.Thermal Management.Product Validation and Debug.Cross‑Functional Product Development.This position offers the opportunity to work on advanced power conversion technologies while developing technical depth under the guidance of experienced power electronics professionals.#J-18808-Ljbffr
