    Role Description The Power Generation Technician is a full-time hybrid role based in Warrior, AL. Day-to-day responsibilities include inspecting, installing, servicing, and repairing power generation equipment, including generator sets, switchgear, and related controls. The technician will perform routine and scheduled preventive maintenance, diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and document all work performed. The role also involves coordinating with team members, supporting equipment testing and commissioning, and providing timely, professional support to customers on-site and remotely.

    Qualifications

    • \n
    • Power Generation knowledge and hands-on experience with generator sets, switchgear, and related systems.
    • \n
    • Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and control system issues in power generation equipment.
    • \n
    • Maintenance & Repair capabilities, including performing corrective repairs and component replacements to manufacturer standards.
    • \n
    • Preventive Maintenance experience, such as conducting inspections, routine servicing, and performance checks to minimize downtime.
    • \n
    • Customer Service skills to communicate clearly with clients, explain technical findings, and support a positive service experience.
    • \n
    • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
    • \n
    • Basic computer skills for service reporting, documentation, and remote support tasks.
    • \n
    • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally to customer sites, as needed.
    • \n
    • Relevant technical certification or vocational training in diesel engines, electrical systems, or industrial maintenance preferred.
    • \n
    • Experience in a power generation, industrial service, or related field is beneficial.
