Power/HVAC Technician

We are recruiting a Power/HVAC Mechanic to join the world's largest equipment rental provider in Cedar Rapids, IA. This role focuses on maintaining and repairing diesel engines, HVAC systems, and power equipment. The ideal candidate has strong heavy engine experience, enjoys hands-on work, and is motivated to grow within a leading service organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel engines, HVAC systems, and air quality equipment
• Complete major engine repairs including turbos, injectors/ejectors, and fuel pump replacements
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems
• Travel occasionally to customer sites to perform service and equipment demonstrations
• Complete service documentation while providing excellent customer service

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience repairing diesel engines and/or HVAC equipment
• Strong heavy engine experience, including major component replacements such as turbos and fuel system repairs
• Ability to diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; generator/electrical experience is a plus, but not required
• Own tools and the ability to read basic schematics and diagrams
