Job Details

An established organization in the renewable energy industry is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to support the ongoing reliability and performance of a renewable natural gas production facility. This individual will oversee maintenance planning, inventory management, contractor coordination, and equipment reliability while working closely with plant leadership to ensure safe and efficient operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys balancing strategic planning with day-to-day operational support in an industrial environment.

What You'll Do:
Lead maintenance planning and scheduling activities to support the safe and reliable operation of a renewable energy processing facility.
Coordinate preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and plant uptime.
Develop maintenance schedules and coordinate both internal resources and external contractors to complete planned work efficiently.
Partner closely with plant leadership and operations personnel to prioritize maintenance activities while minimizing operational disruptions.
Organize and oversee planned shutdowns, equipment outages, and large-scale maintenance projects.
Maintain maintenance documentation, work schedules, and compliance records in accordance with company standards.
Support the management of maintenance management systems and ensure preventative maintenance activities remain current.
Monitor inventory levels for critical spare parts, equipment, and consumables while coordinating procurement activities to support ongoing operations.
Evaluate maintenance trends and operational performance data to identify opportunities for improved reliability, efficiency, and cost savings.
Assist with achieving production objectives by ensuring equipment remains available and operating at peak performance.
Coordinate the work of third-party contractors, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company expectations.
Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with all workplace safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain clear communication with operations, maintenance, vendors, and leadership regarding project status, equipment performance, and maintenance priorities.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment performance, maintenance practices, and operational efficiency.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support plant operations.

What We're Looking For:
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Strong planning, organizational, and scheduling skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
Comfortable utilizing computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), process monitoring software, and standard computer applications.
Analytical mindset with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Self-motivated, dependable, and committed to achieving operational goals while maintaining high safety standards.
Comfortable working in a physically demanding industrial environment and adapting to changing operational needs.

Qualifications:
Previous supervisory or leadership experience within an industrial, manufacturing, energy, utilities, or process operations environment.
Experience supporting maintenance programs involving mechanical, electrical, rotating, or process equipment.
Familiarity with preventative maintenance planning, asset management, and equipment reliability best practices.
Experience coordinating maintenance schedules, contractors, and internal maintenance resources.
Working knowledge of inventory control, spare parts management, and procurement processes.
Experience managing maintenance budgets and understanding basic financial principles is preferred.
Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and regulatory compliance.
Ability to work around industrial equipment and perform physical job duties including standing, walking, climbing, bending, lifting, and working in varying environmental conditions.
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds when necessary.
Willingness to travel occasionally as business needs require.
